Steven Borders

Steven Borders has a Master's of Divinity from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. He is also a church planter and lead pastor or One Hope Community Church in Fort Mill.

Steven has spent 20 years in a variety of roles from starting a college ministry to actively serving in local churches over the years. He has been a small group leader, Sunday school teacher, kids ministry leader, and Director of family ministries.

Steven also chaired the outreach team at St. Giles Presbyterian church in Charlotte where he planned church wide events. 

​

Steven is passionate about raising up healthy churches and church leaders. He wants to see all people come to faith and grow in their walk with God. He planted a One Hope out of a convcition that Fort Mill needed more local churches to reach the rapidly growing population. Steven wants to see all Christians experiencing the life changing power in Jesus and to walk in deep pursuit of a life lived in service to God.

Steven and wife, Sherry, have lived in Fort Mill, SC for over 15 years. They have raised two children who are now both teenagers.

In his free time, Steven enjoys reading theology, church history, and anything related to the Bible. He occassionally enjoys a good nonfiction book that is filled with beauty. He also enjoys a good cup of coffee, time around the firepit and anything related to the outdoors.
